Mc Chief Dr Gupta Conducts Surprise Inspection At Night Shelter; Arrangement Found Unsatisfactory; Explanation To Be Sought

For ensuring proper arrangements at the night shelters for homeless, Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Dr Neeru Katyal Gupta conducted a surprise inspection at the night shelter situated near Vishwakarma chowk on Thursday late evening.
During the inspection, MC Commissioner Dr Gupta said that the arrangements at the night shelter were not satisfactory and an explanation would be sought from the concerned officials regarding the same.
Further Dr Gupta stated that strict directions have been issued to properly maintain the night shelters in the city and no laxity would be tolerated in this context.
MC Commissioner Dr Gupta stated that she has been regularly monitoring the development works and she will conduct more such surprise inspections in the coming days to take stock of the situation at ground level.
